Driven by a deep connection to the cultural heritage of beer, we brew everyday with passion, perfections and creativity. We produce our beers manually using traditional techniques, in depth expertise and with the best ingredients. Our dream is to brew our beers not just for regional market but for the whole world to enjoy.

08 ONYX | RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT | ALC. 12 % VOL. 80 IBU

Our Russian Imperial Stout "ONYX" has a special character in our assortment. It is an alternative to the typical hoppy beers and who is looking for something special, hit the mark with ONYX, because with its complex flavors and 12% Alc. it is a taste sensation. Taste: dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee roast aromas as well as dried raisins and plum. A hint of licorice rounds out the complex flavors. It is very opulent and almost oily. To bring out the complexity, we recommend a temperature of 12 degrees. Beer and cheese make a great combination and here we recommend cheeses such as feta, Stilton and blue cheese. Or as a companion to the dessert like Tiramisu (sweet and bitter, a perfect interaction) or fine truffle pralines.

07 AMARILLO | STRONBEER | ALC. 7 % VOL. 48 IBU

This Bock is not a classic Bock Beer, but a very well hopped strong beer. It is hopped late with the american Amarillo hop which is known for its unique flowery and strong aroma. Taste: the first taste has a strong aroma und tastes full bodied, flowery like citrus and grapefruit when finished. It ends with a light bitte taste of hop. Goes with neary everything, but especially with hearty meals and perfect with dishes with deer or wild boar.

06 BURNED MALT| SMOKED MÄRZEN | ALC. 5,5 % VOL. 30 IBU

Here a typical franconian speciality has been developed in cooperation with the brewery Sakiskiualus from Lithuania.

The beer is called burned malt because it taste like burned malt, extremly smoked with a taste of caramel and ruby coloured.

Taste: well-balanced, spicy and light

05 HELLES LAGER | LAGER| ALC. 5,0% VOL. 17,5 IBU

Our light under-fermented Lager is a little bit milder than the Kellerbeer and much more sweet – a beer for every day and occasion.

Taste: well balanced / full-bodied and light

Goes with salad, fried chicken, cooked fish, mild cheese and light dishes such as salmon with herbes and lemon

04 KELLERBEER| LAGER| ALC. 5,2% VOL. 23 IBU

The cellar beer with its bright amber color is a sweet well balanced lager with a light taste of caramel. It is unfiltered but much milder in taste than the Kellerpils. As mentioned in its name it is stored for a longer time.

Taste:: sweet with a light taste of carmel - Matured in franconian Cellar tradition

03 SMARAGDWEIß | WHEAT BEER | ALC. 5,1% VOL. 17 IBU 440 ml

Wheat beer is usually unfiltered, cloudy and light. In Germany, at least 50% of the malt used must be wheat to be allowed to call a beer Wheat beer.
Our emerald-colored hoppy Wheat beer from Hallerdauer Smaragdhopfen is brewed with an elaborate mashing process and lets you dream of summer and beer gardens.

Taste: orientalisch / kräftig / aromatisch

02 KELLERPILS | NATURAL CLOUDY PILS | ALC. 5,1% VOL. 40 IBU 440 ml

Kellerpils, a traditionally brewed, unfiltered Pils with natural yeast, fresh from the storage cellar. It has the nice bitter hop note of a Pils beer, but is full-bodied and strong in body.

Taste: spicy / refreshing / full bodied

Perfect after a hard day at work, a chilly afternoon in the garden or after a visit from your mother-in-law

 

01 ZOIGL | ZWICKELBEER| ALC. 5,6% VOL. 35 IBU 440 ml

In the Dark Age nearly everyone in the Upper Palatinate used to brew a small amount of beer for his own use. From this arose the Zoiglbier, a naturally cloudy, dark beer, which is very compatible, spicy and palatable. Now we do this for you with our Zoigl : A naturally cloudy historical lager with the finest hops from “Hallerdau” and“Spalt” known by beer lovers, the best growing areas in Germany. Taste: fruity / palatable / malty Andy's favorite, lucky him, he's sitting at the source!

Franconian brewing, we take steps further! Franconian brewing is our cultural heritage. We are committed to craftmanship, full taste and quality. Therefore, we interpret the heritage beer in a new way and let the world experience what a world class craft beer taste like.

Traditional craft meets progress

No contradiction to us! Andy, not a young wild one but a wild old one – years of international experience and fully committed to beer. Daniela complements his traditional craftmanship with innovative ideas and wild creations. A bridge between tradition and innovation, supported by love of brewing from father and daughter tandem.

Two breweries in the surrounding of Bamberg

We produce our beer in two breweries, located in the surrounding of Bamberg: the first one in Schnaid. Here you can admire an open, cool ship made our of copper and first used in 1965. The second one is located in Röbersdorf. Both breweries are about 25km far from Bamberg. With this, we can guarantee you about 5,000 HL of perfectly crafted beers per year that has been traditionally produced including lots of love dedicated to beer.
